They claimed they needed money to pay a debt for a mother’s funeral, then needed money for a computer, phone, plane ticket home, lawyer fees, etc. Then they needed money for an investment, then money for a bribe to get out of jail, for phone access from a guard while in jail in Spain. Now they need money for an offshore account to get access to $500,000. “And they will pay it all back. It’s all an investment!”
