Recently I met a girl online who told me she was a 24-year-old neurosurgeon trainee, trying to become a specialist in the future, and had already been working for 3 years. Within a couple hours of chatting, she mentioned owning two houses and two cars, which already seemed a bit unusual. She also said she had a kid who lives overseas with the father.
She often talked about being called into 'work' at 4am and sometimes working until 8pm or even midnight, saying her shifts were 12–20 hours long.
Things were normal at first and we joked around a bit. But then she started saying she had dreams about getting pregnant with me, which I brushed off as overthinking.
When we eventually met in person, she initiated a lot of physical contact (holding hands, kissing, etc.) and then suggested having sex without protection because she said she knew she didn't have STDs. I wasn't comfortable with that idea and insisted on using protection. We ended up having sex in my car with protection.
Afterward, she became paranoid that the condom broke. I checked it and it hadn't. Then the next day she told me it actually wasn't her safe day and that she had been mistaken, which is when she started pushing the idea of getting the morning-after pill.
The next day she said she 'forgot' to get it in the morning and would get it in the afternoon, but then claimed she was too busy.
Around that time she also asked me to tell her if I wasn't feeling the relationship so she could know early. I told her honestly that the pregnancy scares were making me uncomfortable and I didn't think I wanted things to progress further.
She kept pushing to talk in person and even tried to seduce me again, but I said no. Then she said she would come to my house because she saw my address when I opened Maps on my phone earlier. That really freaked me out and I told her not to come.
After that she said she didn't take the morning-after pill and told me to 'wait two weeks and hope she's not pregnant,' which felt like a threat. When I asked if she was threatening me, she claimed she couldn't see a doctor to get a prescription, even though you don't need one to buy the pill. When I told her that, she changed her story and said she was too busy at the hospital.
At that point I became suspicious and actually called the hospital she claimed to work at and searched medical registries for her name. I couldn't find any record of her as a doctor or even a graduate.
Now she's telling me to wait two weeks for a pregnancy test, and if it's negative she won't text me, but if it's positive she'll let me know. No money or any request has been made at this point in time.
