Discover catches AARP and Paramount charges

A reddit report about a romance scam that cost someone $15.0. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

My Discover card just texted/emailed me about a $15 AARP membership. I am not a member (love to them though). Apparently, I was also charged $15 last month and didn’t notice. While reporting that, I noticed a brand new pending charge for a Paramount subscription, which I also do not have. Discover said they charged me last month too. Looking back a month when these charges started, if my number was stolen the day before (what’s the lead time?), I went to a Hoffman’s car wash and a local bakery on the 14th. I’m so annoyed. Please review your charges better than I did!!
