Hi, I recently had some people knock on my door saying they were from Median Energy, and that there was something in my previous electric and gas bill that could leave me entitled to a discount or something. I don't know how my alarm bells weren't ringing, but they told me to hand them my gas and electric bills, and I did, so they have my account numbers for PSEG and National Grid. I then signed something on their device, and, alarm bells still not ringing, got a call from a robocall that asked a couple questions about consenting to the service. Halfway through the call though, I finally came to my senses and realized something was fishy, and hung up and made them leave my door. I searched it up and there are a couple things about Median Energy making you switch suppliers and then they start charging you a lot. I heard they can't legally change your service without you finishing the call, and I checked PSEG and National Grid and so far nothing has changed, but I want to make sure I wasn't scammed. Anybody have an experience like this before?
