Betting site took my last 2,000

A reddit report about a rental scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

So I am a college student who lives in the hostel, so every day is a battle for food and travel. I come from a not-too-well-to-do family, so life has always been a little tough for me. My friend recently introduced me to a betting site named reddy.game where you can bet on odds and cash out immediately, making some profit out of it. He also earned profit through it and showed me screenshots. I was like this was my way out, so initially I added 1k and made 300 out of it. I was happy that finally I can have an extra income and can enjoy my college life. So yesterday I invested 2k through IMPS transfer and they didn't deposit my money. Now they're claiming they didn't receive it at all. I'm so devastated that my last 2k for the month is gone. I don't know how I'm going to survive, can't even ask parents for money. Is there a way to recover that transfer? Please help.
