He said his name was Brandon, and that he was going to go over my payment options for the warranty. Unfortunately, I gave him my email, mileage of my car, the last 6 digits of my car's VIN number, and verified my phone number, before I realized that it was a scam. I only called because I was unsure whether this was an additional process to do to set up my car's warranty since it was a recent purchase. When I told him I couldn't pay and that I had to discuss it with my dealership first to verify, he hung up. Before the call took place I had received a total of 2 notices that were indicating the need to set up the warranty. At first I thought it was a scam, but then when the final notice letter came in I thought it was from the dealership.
