Scam Messages Sent From My TikTok Account

A reddit report about a phishing scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Last night, an unknown account messaged me on TikTok. When I opened it, they were actually responding to a message that came from my account, but I didn’t send it. I checked my inbox and somehow about 30 scam messages came from my profile to random accounts. I translated the message and it looks like a crypto scam. I changed my password, but what was extra weird was the security section on TikTok said there was no suspicious activity. I filed a report, but they are notoriously not good at getting back to you or handling things. I just went on again today, and about 30 more messages went out about an hour ago. But again, no suspicious activity, and this is after I changed my password. I’m getting freaked out. Is this happening to anyone else? What do I do?
