Ransom Email Actually in My Own Drafts

A reddit report about a phishing scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

It appears they hacked into the email and deleted all old ones, and the email with the ransom details wasn't sent to me—rather it was in my email drafts. They even made a point to say so, as proof the hacking was real, along with including my password that they apparently changed and emails/phone contacts I had saved. It's not the same old scam of not actually hacking. Also, it appears they have started entering some accounts linked to that email and even buying some stuff. It's funny cause the ransom email that said I watched porn and etc. was in English, but I don't live in an English-speaking country, and one of my online shop accounts bought something and shipped it to a nearby state, so the hackers apparently are from here but pretend not to be? Anyways, the account seems to be suspended now. Luckily I have another email and am editing all the accounts that use the hacked one. It's just weird how I can't find anything about this type of scam online.
