Property manager job listing had red flags

A reddit report about a phishing scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

I've blocked them, and I know it's really obvious in hindsight. Just feeling desperate and that's clouding my judgement. But thank y'all! So I'm having a hard time telling if this job is a scam or not. I keep going back and forth. It was a job listing for Evolve Rental Management, a real company with people talking about their experiences both as customers and as employees. I got a text about the listing I applied for from someone who provided just their last name, and he referred to the listing. But it was only over text, which immediately made me nervous. Then he did send me a contract (which only asked for my name, so they don't have anything besides that right now, in case it is a scam) and stated that I would be working in a contractor position. But again, the name for the email was Evolve Rental Management, but the address is a Gmail account with 69 in it (I mean, come on now). And today as training, he had me make a property manager account and create a listing for a property in my area (that does exist, I checked) on Zillow. And I did check, and this is something Evolve does. But every time he texts me, the words are bolded, which makes me worry it's copy-pasted or AI-generated responses. So is this real or a scam? It's got a lot of red flags, but I'm really desperate for funds, so if it is real, I don't want to lose the spot. But obviously if it's a scam, I want to break contact before anyone (myself or anyone else) gets got.
