Yesterday, I received a phone call from a San Francisco area code. The voicemail said, “You have unclaimed documents.” I listened, and the recording was in Mandarin or some other East Asian language, repeating the same message. I ignored the call and called it back today using *67, which also went to voicemail. A few minutes ago, I received a call from a New York area code. This time I picked up because I thought it might be legitimate business. The message was the same: “You have unclaimed documents,” followed by the same East Asian language, probably saying the same thing.
