Hi, I got a phone call last week from someone claiming to be from Blockchain, saying that I had an account made in 2021 and since it hasn't been used since, and there's been some suspicious activity, they have deactivated it. They said they had the wrong email for me down (ending in .cmm not .com?) but then proceeded to send me an email from a Gmail account. This email had my supposed wallet ID in it and my alleged bitcoin amount and was asking me to reactivate my account. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have made an account, I've never been into trading, but maybe the lockdown boredom got to me?
They have called me pretty much every day since last week, set up a Google meeting with me (didn't answer that one). I had 10 missed calls in one day from them and a voicemail? It's always the same man calling me, and he's insisting that I definitely made the account since I would have verified it, and that I need to reactivate it with him.
Am I right in thinking this is a massive scam? Are they being so persistent because they think I will fall for it or could this be legit?
