Please help a sister here. I received an email asking me to submit hours. I'm shocked because I'm not working for this agency. Fast forward: they contacted me for a job some time last year. I was interested, did an interview, and submitted my references, resume, and SSN (#1error) in their portal as they requested. Down the road, they started asking for my pay stub, etc. I also told them I worked in Canada for a US-based company and was moving to the US. They started asking for my Canada SSN or SIN, etc. I started feeling unsafe and backed out. I told them I was no longer interested, etc. I asked them to please delete my information from their portal and even went ahead and deleted it. A few days ago, I received an email asking me to submit hours. Please, how can I find out if someone is using my SSN to work?
