I noticed a bank transaction today that happened at 2:45am Thursday night for over $800. My bank was not helpful at all, so I did some research and saw some scams spoken of referencing this Meta name associated with PayPal. So I went into my Facebook account under payments and it says I have zero payment methods listed and zero transactions. Then I went to check PayPal, and sure enough, that's where it was going through—it just chose that bank to pull from, which my PayPal normally doesn't pull from that bank. So anyway, I removed PayPal. I mean, I removed Meta from my PayPal as an authorized payee and then disputed the transaction. But I don't understand how this could happen. I have no alerts of any logins to my PayPal nor my Facebook, although I didn't go on Facebook all day yesterday for the first time in history. I was proud of myself!! But I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Nothing appears to be hacked. There's no email saying there was a different login, so I'm not sure what's going on. I just hope I get this money back. But if anyone has experienced this or has more info, please comment. Thanks.
