Hello y'all, I feel stupid and ashamed, but I believe I've fallen for a remote WFH job scam. Everything looked legit, and I even did a little research (not enough, I guess) to make sure it was legit. Got an email within a day of applying and filled out all the forms. Gave them basically everything: driver's license, bank info, SSN, address, phone, email, and even a signature. Not even 10 minutes after sending it out, I had a bad gut feeling and did a little more research. Google tells me it's likely a scam. I freaked out and basically locked down my credit, changed my bank account info, and set up an account with the SSA. I want to specify that nothing has happened yet, but I'm genuinely so scared and paranoid about what is going to happen to my identity. What more advice would y'all give me? Should I also call the DMV or something? I basically gave them everything.
