I googled US passport when I was trying to get my son a new passport. This company popped up with the "gov" in their name and website info, so it slipped past me that this was not a U.S. Government agency. When you call them, they identify themselves as a passport office. I made the purchase, and a couple of days later my wife looked at the paperwork I was emailed and she said I was scammed. I paid for them to email me the form that I still have to pay for at the post office to turn in.
