Hello, a few days ago I started receiving emails from this company, 'Virtual World Assistants,' reminding me of a supposed upcoming Zoom meeting where they would present me with a selection of VA candidates. I ignored them (they sent quite a few emails from different accounts, seemingly all related to the same company). Today, the day of the 'meeting,' I got a few emails from them saying I have an invoice for $250 for the service I received (I never clicked on any of the links they sent). I have never heard of this company, but I looked it up online and it supposedly exists. I am sure I never contacted them about anything and won't be paying any money or clicking any links. Has this happened to anyone? Is this some sort of scam? What should I do? Block and move on?
