Fake Honda mower site took my Afterpay payment

A reddit report about a phishing scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Website (dolphinstanker.com) is impersonating an actual Florida business and comes up in the first few Google search results when I searched "Honda Lawnmower". I knew that lawnmower was too good to be true! πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Anyway, I'm in the process of waiting 7 days to get no response from this fake business with this fake email address so I can start to dispute the charge with Afterpay. The fact that using Afterpay was an option, it coming up in Google search results, and it having a searchable address (actually in the field across the street from the business it’s impersonating) really got me, man! I’m so pissed.
