Fake Dynamite Clothing Partnership Contract Scam

A reddit report about a phishing scam that cost someone $200.0. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

I received an email from Dynamite Clothing about a partnership similar to the ones I do with SHEIN, where they would pay me and I would create videos for their products. Everything looked very real—every link matched the official stores, and they even said they would pay me in advance. The problem was in the contract (yes, there was even a contract). It stated that I would have to pay $200 for them to send me the clothing items, but they would pay me that same $200 beforehand, so theoretically I wouldn’t have any expenses. If you’ve only been working with this for a short time, it might seem amazing and you wouldn’t suspect anything—but please, whenever someone sends you a contract, always look into the person who is signing it with you. I searched for information and found no connection to the company. The name was of a woman from Africa: Tsholofelo Dhlamini, but in the email it was Ariana? Even her signature was on the contract. I sent an email to Dynamite Clothing explaining everything, and they told me that no one with that name works in their marketing team. So, be careful. Even if they don’t try to scam you through links, they might send you a contract and a fake check, and you could end up paying for something that will never arrive—or simply not receive your money at all.
