So, the other week I did a translation job for a rather sus client on Facebook (yeah, I know). And when I finished the job and sent it, they told me that in order to get paid I need to "Kindly confirm your email address and contact the company bank for your payment transaction" — and this is the bank in question: axionchartered dot com. So I opened an account there, got "paid", and then tried sending that money to my personal bank account. It hasn't arrived there yet for whatever reason; maybe it's because my bank has to process it because it's currency from another country. But I'm starting to think I've been finessed, but I wanted y'all to check the site and tell me if you've ever heard of a scam like this. It kinda feels like one of those pig butchering scams where they make you invest in an app and then you discover the app is fake even though it looks like any other app.
