So I bought a very expensive watch from a seller PureWatches who apparently had only good reviews. The watch did not function properly and the seller claimed to have a 30 day return policy, so after speaking with the seller over email, I initiated the return process. A return label was created to ship through FedEx and I printed the label. A few days later, I went to FedEx to ship the return.
Within a few hours of having the item shipped by FedEx, I get an email from eBay that my account is suspended for violating abusive buyer policy and the return has been cancelled. So the item is on the way to the seller, and I won’t be getting my money back?
Can anyone please tell me what might have happened? This is my first time using eBay and I most definitely did not abuse any one or any policies. Also why did this happen literally the same day I sent the item back? I called eBay and they said there’s nothing they can do and they will not go into details on why my account was suspended but recommend I reverse the charge through my bank which I will most certainly be doing, but I’m just confused.
