I saw a video on Facebook that advised of Dr. Mehmet Oz's gelatin diet trick. There were also celebrities, such as Kelly Clarkson, that shared their personal success with the diet. I was then told that I would receive the gelatin ingredients and the price for same. I ordered Dr. Oz's products. I received bottles of a liquid product 'Gelatide' which is not in any way related to the products Dr. Oz spoke of. I have been trying for over a month to receive a full refund as promised in the video. When I received a reply from the company, I have been offered a 10% refund, 30% refund, and on and on. I repeatedly state that I would get a 100% refund as promised and even detailed how their video was misleading. This is an excerpt from an email from many emails with Mario Silva, 'I would like to explain that the mention of gelatin in the video is educational and illustrative in nature. Using the gelatin recipe is not mandatory for the Gelatide formula to work, but because of the video, many customers prefer to use the drops in combination with gelatin, as it is an excellent aid for satiety and provides additional benefits to the diet. If you wish, I can send you the official recipe as an image so you can prepare it at home and use the product as you expected.' Again, I stated that I do not wish to use the product as it was not Dr. Oz's 'recipe' and I was concerned about the legitimacy and safety of Gelatide. The response from representative Mario Silva was to offer a 30% refund and some educational materials. I stated that I would pay for shipping if the company would tell me where to send the product for a 100% refund. Mr. Silva stated that I could not receive a 100% refund and would need to pay for shipping AND a restocking fee. Nowhere in the video did they state it was 'illustrative' and that I would receive a product named Gelatide. I still have not received an address to return the scam product over a month after receiving it.
