So I was chilling and I get a message request from someone on Discord showing my Steam account, asking if this was me. They confronted me about scamming them, which I haven't done. They said they and their friends reported my account multiple times so my account could get banned. (I don't know if you get an email saying if you have been banned or not, but I never got anything about it.) Then they said they wanted to retract their reports but couldn't, because they needed me to appeal through a guy on Steam. The guy didn't appear on Discord, so I did send Steam a ticket about it up to that point, as I was worried my account was gonna get banned. Then this guy, Ben Burbank — the same name on the screenshot the person sent me saying I scammed them — messaged me to appeal. It was in a weird format that I hadn't seen on Discord. It seemed fishy that Steam would send me to Discord to sort out a Steam issue. I played along a little bit until he wanted me to send £100 that I'd apparently get back to prove I didn't scam anyone.
