Bitcoin Blackmail Email Threat from 'Footballquiz App'

I recently got this email sent to me from an unknown source. It appears to show that the email came from me, however, this is a phishing attempt using a “via footballquiz app”. The scammer attempted to trick me into claiming he has access to my email and other personal information, and threatened to use my information against me. They wanted me to give them $600 USD in bitcoin using a bitcoin deposit address link, or they would sell my private personal information to the dark net. I am curious if anyone else has received a similar email threat. Posting this as a scam advisory so others are aware in case they receive a similar email.
