Bakebao.com and Seel.com Scammed Me

A reddit report about a phishing scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Ordered some items from Bakebao.com via a social media ad (Pinterest, I think), but the items were never received. Then I contacted their third party 'resolutions' company called Seel.com. They put me through 2 months of constant promises and to-and-fro communications with no full refund (as promised) in sight. Their website where you are supposed to log an 'attestation' refused to send this information with constant 'error' messages. All their emails and supposed 'live chat' were AI - you never communicate with a person and it always deflects and wastes time, so their 'deadline for action' is passed time and time again. After I instigated a new claim, the same pattern repeated. The 'resolutions' dept, Seel.com, said they have no contact with Bakebao directly, so they constantly got me to email their 'support', but all I got were AI replies. Both these companies - Bakebao and Seel - are scams. Avoid them. They will steal your money if you do not receive the purchased items.
