Ariat Boots 90% Off Was a Scam

A reddit report about a phishing scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

I saw an ad on YouTube shorts saying Ariat boots were 90% off. The website looked totally legitimate, and I ordered some knowing that it was too good to be true but hoping maybe it was just a great deal. Nope, it was a scam. They sent me a tracking number for some weak-ass looking tracking website called TRACK718. It just has generic information like “Arrive at receiving point” and “depart from the airport of origin.” I gave it a week to make sure, but it’s bullshit. I emailed their customer service, and they do have someone replying to my emails, but they said just wait a little longer and our “shipping partner” isn’t one of the major ones so you can only use that bs tracking website.
