I have never had an issue ordering from Amazon. I ordered an item priced at $1,000 before taxes. The reviews were excellent, but the seller wasn’t listed. I didn’t notice this when I submitted the order. I received notice that it arrived at the post office. What I received instead was a small box with a metal tag in it with a number, along with an insert. Everything is very good quality, very professional looking. What was suspicious is that I wasn’t warned about this process ahead of time, and the email address is odd. I contacted Amazon directly, who confirmed it was a scam. They refunded me without any hassle. Now I can see the seller—who I left a review for—accompanying all the other “scam” reviews. My only complaint: why would Amazon hide the seller’s information, or is this some fancy footwork by the seller directing buyers to a fake store?
