If you get a call from 'Williams and Associates' threatening a lawsuit, just hang up and block. Super-high pressure scammers trying to get a quick 'debt settlement' payment from you NOW! One of several scammers that claim you have an HSBC credit card debt. Mine was $9K! I never had an HSBC card. (HSBC got bought out a decade or so ago by Capital One.) These jerks prey on folks over 50 and have all sorts of disinformation. Just say you're not interested, hang up and block the number.
