I received a call from Allstate asking if I was interested in a new policy, and I gave them some info (accidents, tickets, how long I've had my license and such). The new policy was cheaper, so I gave them my routing information for autopay. I assumed it was legit because the lady sounded like the one from my insurance broker, who had me on National General (which I know is owned by Allstate), so I assumed all of this was legit. But I called my broker and they knew nothing about what I was talking about, and Allstate sent me a text saying they received my down payment, even though no money is missing from my account and there's no transaction on record at all. I'm just confused and worried about all of my money getting taken.
