Spam Call Flood After Sharing My Number Online

A reddit report about a other scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

I was an idiot and put my phone number into a website I shouldn't have yesterday. Since then, I have been receiving a new spam call every 3-4 minutes nonstop. I have call screening enabled on my phone and downloaded an app, and both of those things are preventing calls from getting through to me, but I get notified every single time one is blocked, too. I'm at a loss; the volume of calls is unbelievable. They stopped around 6pm yesterday, but started back up the second it hit 8am today. Is there any way to make this stop? I'm scared it'll be like this forever and I'll have to get a new number.
