Phantom Debt Collection Texts from Tennessee

A reddit report about a other scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Received this text Tuesday and again today: https://imgur.com/a/5NDDkwM For reference, I have never been to Tennessee, neither have I ever had dealings with World Finance Corporation Of Tennessee. I did go to the website, used the reference number and a zip code. It’s asking me to agree to a privacy policy; I have not clicked agree or disagree yet. acibillpay.com from the text looks to have been registered in 2009 and it redirects to evokepay.com which was registered in 2019. I don’t have any outstanding debts other than home mortgage and some medical bills that I’m waiting on the EOB for. I also checked my three credit reports; no collections on file. Can I safely ignore this? Edit: re-posted with redacted numbers.
