Paid to Like Items, Then Asked to Prepay

A reddit report about a other scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

I was invited to join this group as a “digital assistant”. I initially joined out of curiosity, and they actually paid me for some tasks they asked me to perform (simply liking some items on Lazada). On the second day, though, came the offer of choosing from three options of “prepayment” task options, where you have to prepay them a certain amount upfront, which somehow entitles you to some percentage of commission. I can see that a lot of people actually paid a certain company called “Glori”. Some guys paid ₱900, some over ₱4000. Has anyone here come across this thing? And what do you think? Because as soon as I saw that offer, I decided to stay away.
