I just read another post about a woman being approached in a store and asked to buy baby formula. I knew that would probably be a scam, so I wouldn't have done that. However, a light bulb went off when I realized I might have also been scammed recently. A woman in a nearby neighborhood posted on the Nextdoor app that she was in dire need of baby formula. She gave me her address and phone number and asked me to leave the formula on the porch. She seemed very genuine and appreciative. I was a little taken aback because it was a nice house and there was an almost new Infiniti SUV in the driveway, but you never know what circumstances people find themselves in. She didn't ask me to, but I did leave the receipt with the formula. Do you think it was a scam if she gave me her address and phone number?
