My drunk ass didn't consider that the text my friend sent me could be a scam, or that the reply I got when I asked about it might be the scammer talking to me. So I went to the site and put my Name, DoB, and DebitCard into a dumb casino site that offered a bit of money to start off with, which my 'friend' assured me you could withdraw from. The second I hit submit I felt something was off, and checking confirmed it was a scam. I immediately canceled the card and had a new one issued. No charge has been made, and I never entered my security PIN. I don't have credit to freeze, but should I do anything further? Is there risk of identity theft without having credit or submitting a SSN?
