The call came from our local area code. The caller said his name was Ronnie Jenkins with NSBI/National Service Bureau. He said he was a third-party company calling to collect for a car accident and that we were to pay him a lump sum or in payments. The number he called from wasn't his; it was a burner phone. I found this out when I called the number back and got a non-working number. The direct number he provided was 425-800-4879. I called it and was answered with "This is Ronnie Jenkins." I asked Mr. Jenkins who he worked for, and he got hostile and said, "You don't call me asking me questions." I said, "Well, you called me asking me questions, and I would like to know who you are and the company you represent that is requesting I send $24,000 to?" He got very hostile and then called me by my name, as he could see it on caller ID. I said, "If you are asking who I am, you already know by caller ID." He continued to yell at me. I let him know that he called the wrong person to fall for his scam and that all numbers and business will be reported. He said, "Do you need to talk to my boss Tim?" I said, "No sir, I do not need to speak to any further scammers of this fake company." I hung up, and he continues to call back and harass me for $24,000 or to make payments on their website.
