Need help getting a scam rescue with 7,000 followers on Facebook reported. They only tell you their location via DM. They've posted 377 dogs since mid-February when they started.
They've informed me via DM that they are based out of Washington DC but told my partner they are based out of Tennessee. They've also told me the reason they only provide their locations via DM is:
"So many people come to waste our time, they don't actually reach out to us to adopt. That's why we keep our location for those who are willing to reach out to us directly and show they're serious. Then we provide them with the information they need."
They asked me to send $500 to have the dog of my choice shipped to me and also have some kind of donation process for animals they say they are caring for in need.
Scammers like this are taking money that should go to valid organizations that do so much good for animals.
After asking them questions via DM, they blocked me. I did report them before that and recommend others do the same or just engage to see how weird they are.
