Our dogs kept barking, so I thought my wife was home. I went to the door and saw a guy standing there. He said through the door that he was here for the PS5 on Facebook Marketplace. I said it's not here, and he said alright and walked away. But they were still in the driveway, so I went out with my gun tucked. As soon as I walked out, he said 'this is (insert address)' and I'm like yeah. He said they told him to come here and showed me his phone, which had a bot-looking profile selling a PS5. It literally said to come to (insert address), but he never asked me for a deposit. I told him it was a scam and he said 'my bad.' What exactly is the scam here? I'm on a pretty quiet street with not a lot of houses, so I'm pretty shocked they would pick my address. I'm pretty sketched out now. I did find another scam-looking profile using an identical PlayStation picture, and it has all one-star reviews of people saying they wanted them to go to a house late at night.
