Just sat down with a cocktail a few minutes ago and see a casually well-dressed guy with a backpack walking up to my door. I know I should have not answered the door to someone I don't know, but he didn't seem a threat. Foolish, I know. He is obviously surprised when some big old white dude answers the door. "Is, uh, is Becky here?" Me: No there's no Becky here. He: Is this XXXX house number. Me: Yep. He: She lied to me. And he walks off, realizing he'd been scammed. And I realize he just fell for the babysitter money for sex scam. Now I'm wondering if there will be more. Not answering the door again anytime soon.
