Shaadi Match Slowly Pitched Crypto Trading to Me

I matched with a girl on Shaadi and initially everything felt completely normal. We had good conversations about life, future plans, marriage expectations, etc. Nothing felt off at all—she actually came across as genuine and easy to talk to. After a while, she slowly introduced trading into the conversation. At first it was casual, like she just mentioned that she does trading. Then it started becoming more frequent. I got curious and asked her to explain how it works, what strategy she uses, and how she manages risk. That’s where things started feeling strange. Instead of explaining clearly, she kept saying things like “you’ll understand when you do it practically” or “it’s hard to explain, just try once.” She avoided giving any proper breakdown of what she actually does. When I asked more questions, she didn’t really answer directly. Another thing that felt off was she claimed she’s been trading for years and never had a loss. That didn’t sound realistic to me at all. Then she started suggesting I join her trades or invest during “good opportunities.” It wasn’t super aggressive, but there was definitely a push towards getting me involved without fully understanding it. When I tried to slow things down and said I want to understand first before doing anything, she kind of changed her tone. Eventually she said we are not compatible and ended the conversation. What confused me the most is that apart from the trading part, everything else felt normal and genuine. That’s why I wasn’t sure if I was just overthinking or if this is actually a pattern. It really feels like this might be some kind of repeated approach or scam pattern where they build trust first and then introduce trading. Glad I didn’t invest anything, but yeah, it’s a bit scary how convincing it can feel in the beginning.
