Scammed by Fake Retyping Task on Telegram

A reddit report about a impersonation scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Hi. 25F here. I stumbled upon a TikTok post about doing part-time shit. He introduced me to a guy on Telegram, named Andres. Then I got small tasks of retyping. After that, he reviewed my work and asked me to message someone named George for my payment, and I did. And then that George told me to pay for an ID shit worth 3k; I negotiated and paid 2k instead so that my pay would be released. After all those shit, I was asked to send my name and all details, and then they asked another 5k, which I did not pay at all. Anyone encountered the same?
