So, I was driving out of Tacoma Mall earlier today, and in the parking lot there was a homeless man playing with his dog. His dog runs up to my car as I'm driving past, and I'm quite sure I managed to stop right before actually hitting it. The homeless dude then starts yelling at me and insisting that I hit his dog and that he was gonna call the police. I told him that his dog ran right in front of my car and that he probably shouldn't be playing with his dog in a parking lot (he was right next to a lane, literally sitting in the parking spaces). He then told me that he's willing to let it go if I give him some money, and I replied that I only have a dollar. He said he was gonna call the cops again, which I imagine was his way of trying to scare me out of more money (I wasn't even lying lmao. I genuinely only had one dollar of cash on me). At this point I caught on that it was likely a scam and just drove off. I mean, I can't imagine most dogs would just run in front of moving vehicles on their own volition. He probably made his dog do it on purpose. Anyways, I think now would be a good time to invest in a dashcam.
