A bbb report about a impersonation scam that cost someone $3900.0. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Purchased kitten for 650 dollars. Rental crate 750 dollars, both using PayPal, which popped up as being a possible scam. Insurance 2500 dollars, which was paid by Bitcoin. They would not accept this payment through PayPal, reporting this as a scam. They threatened us to file a complaint to animal welfare neglecting kitten. They are attempting for 5000 dollars more tomorrow via Bitcoin, individually inserting 1000 dollars at a time. I was unaware of the rental crate cost and insurance cost; only the cost of the kitten, which I was aware of after signing the ownership of cat paperwork. We are being threatened with 5000 dollars penalty for testing the health of the kitten and vaccinations and microchip, and if not paid they will report to animal welfare as being negligent to the kitten at the shipping office. Very threatening. I, the buyer, acknowledged receipt bill of sale 650 dollars on contract for kitten. We were not allowed to decline this bill of sale within the first day. On the website there is no phone number and totally online store for kittens. Said on the website you have 24 hours to cancel your order and we were not allowed. Claiming we will be reimbursed for the 750 dollars rental of the cat crate and the 2500 dollars for insurance for the travel of the kitten.
