Jury Duty Scam Caller Had the Same Voice

A reddit report about a impersonation scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Someone called me claiming to be from the local county sheriff's department. They told me I failed to report to jury duty and I had charges against me. I was suspicious from the start, but when I asked if there was a number I could call so I could make sure it was the actual sheriff's department, he didn't give me a number. He said he would transfer me to another "officer." That "other officer" had the same exact voice as the first. I just hung up after that. This is why I don't like to pick up any phone calls anymore.
