HELP! I just saw this message in my spam text and obviously freaked out and immediately clicked the link. I put all my information in, and it was taking suspiciously long to verify. It even asked for verification from my bank. Then I soon realized why I had a 'toll fine' in the first place when I've never been in toll lanes. Is this a scam? It was weird because the link takes me to the Texas DMV site. Here's the message: Texas DMV Notice: Unresolved Traffic Citation Effective March 29, 2026 This notice concerns an outstanding traffic citation associated with your record in Texas. Prompt resolution is advised to avoid additional administrative actions. If the matter is not addressed by March 28, 2026, the following may be applied: • Permanent entry of the violation on your record • Driver's license suspension starting March 29, 2026 • Possible suspension of your vehicle registration • Additional administrative fees [Edit: I have already canceled/replaced my card. Thank you for the help everyone.]
