Fake Real Estate Job Led to Flagged Accounts

A reddit report about a impersonation scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Yesterday I started a "job" of inputting property listing info on some websites. Today, both accounts I made are flagged and I took down a listing that I put on Facebook Marketplace. What I don't understand is that I didn't give them any information besides my first and last name and the links to the property listing I posted, which was just information they provided. Maybe there's some way they can obtain more information out of what I did? I should've known sooner because they used the word 'kindly' but my brain wasn't in "this is a scam" mode.
