Fake parcels and OTP demands: a stranger's delivery nightmare

A reddit report about a impersonation scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

Hi guys, I am receiving parcels of weird things like: 1. A beige item with my name written on it as the product, and it was a cash on delivery order from Meesho. 2. One more order from WareIQ with no name on it, and it was prepaid. 3. One more order of a girls' frock, again prepaid. I never ordered such things, nor did I use Meesho or random websites to register myself probably... why is this happening? What actions can I take? The delivery guy was asking for OTP to receive and even to cancel the delivery he required OTP – I didn't give any. He said it is happening a third time and started fighting with me. I shouted back, asking him, 'Will you give OTP to a stranger because he brought you a fake cheap parcel at your house saying it's yours, you ordered it?' Then he understood my concern that it can be a pure scam. I don't know how to handle this, but it has been so annoying.
