Retail Business- Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro. The scam was connected to a dryer repair request through Honolulu Appliance Repair Pro. Then I got a call from Kamani Beckford telling me that the dryer repair person was on his way to my home address. Then he said that he wanted to test the system on Zelle transfer to: Brainna Owen's (347) 259-8806 for $3,000, then he did another test for $400 to Kimani Beckford (323) 273-9352, always telling me that the cost for repairs was $149 and that he did not take credit card or check payments, but transfer only. I contacted my bank that day to cancel the transfer through Zelle, 2 transactions. Currently I don't know what the situation is on my complaint except according to Officer ****** ******** HPD, he did file with the feds and told me to file with the BBB.
