DoorDash Impersonation Scam Costs Driver $2,100

A bbb report about a impersonation scam that cost someone $2100.0. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

I was door dashing, delivering an order to a customer. I tried calling the customer via the DoorDash app, but they didn't answer. Then I received a call via the DoorDash number and they said they were customer service. They told me I was reported by a customer saying someone was using my account and they were drunk. They then told me all my information via DoorDash. They were also able to say the last time I was active on DoorDash. They knew a lot of my activity, and I never gave them any information. They even knew my bank information. Overall, I did end up sending the money I made on DoorDash back to them, and they said they would release that money back to me. I want to inform people about this scam.
