Someone I had friended on Discord who I basically never talked with recently messaged me claiming to have accidentally reported me and now needs my help to not get us both suspended. He sent a screenshot saying I have 12 hours to fix it. The strange thing is he claims the person he was trying to report had the same Discord profile picture and a similar username, but my profile picture is my own artwork, so unless that person was impersonating me, he wouldn't have that picture. I suspect this is a scam, but I don't want to lose my Discord account. Why would Discord need me to help him with a false request? And that whole 12-hour thing seems suspicious — why would such a time limit exist?
