I just received a call from a blocked number (showed unknown on caller id) and they asked if I was home to sign for a package. I didn’t give my name or any other information and simply asked what address they were trying to deliver to. They named a small town I lived in briefly about 10 years ago when staying with my partner’s parents. I told him I’d never lived in that town (my name wasn’t on the lease and I never got mail sent to that address) and they hung up. Has anyone else gotten calls like this? I’ve seen the fake delivery text messages but never a phone call.
