Hi all, My wife and I are looking for an apartment and she responded to a listing that turned out to be almost certainly a scam. The "agent" asked for an application, and she sent photos of our driver's licenses, plus our names, address, phone numbers, salaries, and credit scores. She did NOT share SSNs, bank info, or credit cards. After checking, the person's name seems to belong to someone who recently passed away, which makes it feel even more like a scam. We're a bit freaked out, especially since we're new to the US. How risky is the info that was shared, and what could someone actually do with it? What should we do now to protect ourselves? Thanks.
